The Carthage Eagles are seeking to score match points, in order to set foot in the next round of the World Cup, which is held on Arab lands for the first time in history, but it will not be easy in light of Australia's desire to preserve its chances to continue in the World Cup.

The Tunisian national team succeeded in winning a point at the start of its World Cup campaign, after drawing with Denmark without goals.

While the Australian national team is playing the match under the slogan "There is no alternative to winning" after its defeat by France by four goals to one in the match that was held between the two teams in the opening of their matches in Group D.

Group D of the 2022 World Cup includes France, Denmark, Tunisia and Australia.

The Tunisian national team, led by its coach Jalal Al-Qadri, relies a lot on the double of Skhiri and Al-Aidouni in the middle of the field to prevent the superiority of the Australian attack, in addition to its reliance on an iron line of defense, as happened in the Denmark match, and reliance on rapid rebound by exploiting the capabilities of Youssef Msakni and Ben Suleiman.

It is expected that Al-Qadri will play today’s match with a formation consisting of: Ayman Dahman in the goalkeeper, Montaser Talbi, Dylan Bronn and Yassin Meriah in the defense line, Drager, Elias Skhiri, Issa Al-Aidouni and Al-Abdi in the midfield, Bin Salmani, Jabali and Youssef Msakni in the attack line.
France leads the group with 3 points, Tunisia comes second with a point, Denmark has one point, while Australia has no points in last place.
